Shooting Injures 23-Year-Old Man In Norwich: Report

A man was hospitalized after suffering non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting.

NORWICH, CT — A shooting injured a 23-year-old man in Norwich early Tuesday morning, according to WTNH News-8. Police were dispatched to William Backus Hospital at 2 a.m. due to a report of a gunshot victim.

The man had suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his hand.

The victim did not provide any details about the incident, according to WTNH News-8. Police did not receive a shots-fired call when the crime occurred.
