(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Oat, 54, of Norwich, NBC Connecticut reports Saturday. No foul play is expected. NORWICH, CT — Police continue to seek the identity of a man who was found dead in the Shetucket River on July 22. The subject is a white male who is about 6-feet-tall and weighed about 200 pounds. He is between 45 and 60-years-old and had medium length brown hair and a brown/grey beard. He was wearing tan shorts with a size 34 waist and an olive colored plaid short sleeve button down shirt that was XL size. Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigators Schmidt or Hawrylik at (860) 886-5561. Or the anonymous tip line at (860) 886-5561 EXT. 4.
