Three Rivers Community College President Receives Honor
She was inducted into a prestigious honor society.

From Three Rivers Community College: Three Rivers Community College is excited to announce that President Mary Ellen Jukoski has been inducted as an honorary member of Epsilon Pi Tau, an international honor society that recognizes high performing engineering technology students. The induction ceremony was held on May 4 at Manchester Community College.
Dr. Jukoski was nominated by her colleagues for her demonstrated leadership in science, engineering, and technology in Connecticut. She joins the ranks of educators who have demonstrated a commitment and passion to STEM education as well as provided the leadership necessary for the 21stcentury workforce that is critical for the economic stability and growth of not only Connecticut, but of the nation.
Dr. Jukoski’s has served as President of Three Rivers Community College since May 2014. This is the latest step in her distinguished career as a teacher, college administrator, and leader in higher education. Prior to her current position, Dr. Jukoski served as President of Mitchell College in New London, CT for twenty-two years. She has held several administrative positions at Sacred Heart University, Loretto Heights College, the University of Memphis and Empire State College. Prestigious awards include a W.K. Kellogg Foundation National Leadership Fellowship, the William Crawford Award, the distinguished alumni award from SUNY Albany, the Greater New London NAACP Education Award, and most recently, the 2018 Connecticut Distinguished Woman in Higher Education Administrative Leadership Award.

During the ceremony, more than 100 students from the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system were inducted into Epsilon Pi Tau, including 18 from Three Rivers Community College. Epsilon Pi Tau is an academic and professional honors society for technology programs in higher education, workforce development programs, and professionals in practice. Founded in 1929 at Ohio State University, the honor society promotes and recognizes the achievements of academic excellence and provides professional development in technology professions.
