(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. Dada Post USA will continue in this inspiration. In 2022 Howard McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. NORWICH, CT – Two historical properties downtown are slated <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160802/two-downtown-norwich-properties-heading-to-tax-foreclosure-auctions" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">to go to tax foreclosure auctions this month</a>, The Day reported.  Soon to be auctioned are the <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160802/two-downtown-norwich-properties-heading-to-tax-foreclosure-auctions" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">former Elks Club mansion and Chelsea Landing Pub</a> properties, according to The Day. The mansion is scheduled for auction on Saturday at noon, while the pub is scheduled for Aug. 13.  Taxes owed on the Elks Club <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160802/two-downtown-norwich-properties-heading-to-tax-foreclosure-auctions" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">totaled $13,344, while $32,544 was owed</a> on the Chelsea Landing property, The Day reported.
