Two Historical Norwich Properties to Go to Tax Foreclosure Auctions
Two pieces of city history will be up for auction this month.

NORWICH, CT – Two historical properties downtown are slated to go to tax foreclosure auctions this month, The Day reported.
Soon to be auctioned are the former Elks Club mansion and Chelsea Landing Pub properties, according to The Day. The mansion is scheduled for auction on Saturday at noon, while the pub is scheduled for Aug. 13.
Taxes owed on the Elks Club totaled $13,344, while $32,544 was owed on the Chelsea Landing property, The Day reported. Both properties can be examined by potential bidders on the day of their respective auctions from 10 a.m. to noon.
