Norwich Venue Owner Failed To Correct Fire Safety Violations: Report
The owner of a Norwich venue is facing a charge that she failed to correct fire safety hazards, according to a report.
NORWICH, CT โ A woman is accused of operating a large events venue illegally and was arrested last week for failing to comply with a city fire marshal's order to correct fire safety violations, according to The New London Day. Huey "Natalie" Min Lee, 61, of Norwich, was charged with a single count of failure to abate a fire hazard.
Lee controls the LLCs that own three Norwich properties that she rents for large events. A fire official conducted an inspection in December at Lee's Mount Crescent House at 270 Broadway and found 18 fire safety code violations at the property. Lee allegedly failed to comply with an order to correct those violations by a Jan. 20 deadline.
