Town of Greenwich officials and the Greenwich Road Runners Board of Directors have decided to postpone Sunday’s Greenwich Half Marathon until Sunday, October 18th. The forecasted high winds and coastal flooding, combined with the strong potential for power outages, downed trees and fallen power lines, raised significant safety concerns for participants, volunteers, spectators and the community and led to the postponement.
All registered participants are automatically transferred to the new race date. Those participants that cannot run on October 18 can defer entry to the 2027 race. Race updates will be available on jbsports.com.
