Pointing Fingers The Movie

FlowerPetalsAdaptiveDance is excited to invite you to a special screening of Pointing Fingers, a groundbreaking fictional feature film written by and starring autistic nonspeaker Dan Bergmann. This is not a documentary. Screenwriter and Actor Dan Bergmann is a Non Speaker with Autism. He received a degree from Harvard's Extension School through Spelling to Communicate.

It is an original murder mystery in which a young non speaking couple becomes the prime suspect in a murder investigation. As they race to uncover the real killer, they must also overcome a world that repeatedly underestimates who they really are.

Following the screening, members of the filmmaking team will participate in a live audience Q&A. Audience members who communicate by typing, spelling, or other alternative methods will be warmly welcomed to participate using their preferred communication approach.

We hope this event brings together adults with autism, families, educators, professionals, employers, and community members for an inspiring evening of entertainment, conversation, and connection.
