2 Charged With Shoplifting at Target: Orange PD
Police said one of the accused's fought with store employees.

ORANGE, CT — Two women are accused of shoplifting from Target and one of the women fought with employees, Orange Police said. Officers responded to the Target store recently for a reported shoplifting incident, police said.
Officers learned that the two arrestees, Kim Palumbo, 51, of West Haven and Christina Johnson, 41, of Chaplin, took a total of $567 worth of clothing and other merchandise out of the store without paying, police said.
Store security agents stopped the pair, and Palumbo began to fight the employees, police said. Officers arrived shortly thereafter, and Johnson attempted to physically stop officers from arresting Palumbo, police said. Both were taken into custody and charged.

They were both charged with second-degree breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy. Palumbo is also charged with third-degree robbery, interfering with an officer and second-degree criminal trover.
