2 Men Stole $2,600 Worth of Vacuum Cleaners: Orange Police

Orange police say the theft occurred at the Target store.

Orange police say they responded to the Target store at 25 Boston Post Road regarding a shoplifting complaint earlier this month.

Officers learned that the two arrestees, David Adams, 50, of the Bronx, NY and Arthur Richardson, 54, of an uncertain address, had allegedly filled two shopping carts with vacuum cleaners, then ripped off the security tags, police said.

The total value of the vacuum cleaners was $2607, police said. They attempted to remove the merchandise from the store without paying, but were stopped by security and detained for police, police said.
