2 People Charged with Trespassing at Orange Business: Police

Police say the business had been plagued by after-hour thefts recently.

ORANGE, CT — A Guilford man and a West Haven woman are accused of possessing burglar tools and trespassing at an Orange business, police said. On April 15, Orange Police Officers were conducting surveillance of a local business after receiving complaints regarding complaints of after-hours thefts, police said.

Officers observed a vehicle park in a nearby lot, then saw the two arrestees, Christopher F. Motzer, 49, of Guilford and Taisha L. Falu, 27, of West Haven, enter the business under surveillance, police said.

The arrestees then reentered the vehicle and drove away, police said. Officers stopped the vehicle and found burglar tools and a small quantity of drugs, all of which were seized, police said. Both parties were taken into custody and charged with third-degree criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia.
