85-Year-Old Orange Man Causes Scene At Milford Hospital: Police

The man is accused of saying in part, "If I see the doctor I am going to shoot him," police said.

MILFORD, CT — An 85-year-old Orange resident is accused of causing a scene at Milford Hospital where he is accused of saying "I hate this hospital, I had a procedure done here and they messed me up. If I see the doctor I am going to shoot him," police said.

Police said they responded to the hospital on Sept. 10 on a report of a threatening incident. Investigation led to the arrest of George Mako, 85, of Chestnut Hill Road in Orange, who is accused of making the comments while in the hospital's waiting room, police said.

He is charged with second-degree breach of peace.
