The new school year is officially underway as staff gathered today for convocation at the high school, and then for preparations in our buildings. It has been a tough week and continues to be so for those still without power. This is certainly a time we will remember and talk about for years to come.
Tuesday we welcome students back to school and then the new year really begins. It is time! The building has been quiet far too long. We are ready to hear the sounds of laughter and squeals of delight from students. It is especially fun to greet our returning students who are now eighth graders with classes located in the front of the building.
It will be all hands on deck to welcome the incoming seventh graders and to help them find their way around and locate their lockers. We have a special schedule planned that includes an assembly, time to find their classes, and of course, time to organize their lockers and learn how to use the combination lock.

The building looks awesome. Phil and his staff have done their magic, washing, waxing and scrubbing the hallways and classrooms back to shiny newness. Please drop in and see how wonderful the building looks and how prepared it is for students and staff.
