Advance The Performing Arts Academy of Connecticut as a Member of the

Association Board of Directors!

The Performing Arts Academy of Connecticut is accepting nominations of those passionate about the arts that are interested in serving on the Board of Directors. We are committed to creating a nominee pool that represents the diversity of our community and actively strive to achieve a variety of enthusiastic professionals.

Our Board members work to engage the community through a variety of outreach, programming, advocacy and volunteer opportunities, and help develop strategies to advance the Performing Arts Academy of Connecticut and its important initiatives such as:

· Spreading PAACT’s passion of teaching the common core through arts

· Apply for grants

· Support PAACT’s initiative to be able to give back to the state of Connecticut through both arts and fundraising

· Empowering our community through the arts by hiring our local artists

We seek an active group of volunteers who demonstrate passion, service and leadership in helping to advance PAACT, and who are willing to commit their time and expertise in working collaboratively to further the Association’s mission and strategic priorities. Please help us achieve these goals by forwarding the names and resumes of qualified candidates to the Nominating Committee for consideration.

Nominations are due by March 15th, 2015.
