American Dance Experience Dancers are Disney Bound
45 ADE Dancers are set to hit the Disney stage.
Hamden, CT - 45 American Dance Experience dancers are extremely busy, as final preparations are underway as they prepare for their trip to Walt Disney World in Florida next week.
The girls, ages 7-18, will be dancing on the Waterside Stage at Disney Springs on July 17th. The performance will include 8 dances, choreographed by Alicia DeCesare-Corcoran and Susan Magliochetti. The dances include tap performances of Dear Future Husband, Mad Men, It Don't Mean A Thing, Hey Pachuco and Flamenco and jazz performances of Miami Heat and Superheroes. They will also be performing an opening and closing number.
Since the year-end dance recital on June 25th, the dancers have been meeting Monday-Friday for intensive dance rehearsals. "It's a big undertaking, but can you imagine the excitement and how excited the dancers (will) be when they're standing backstage and and get ready to perform in front of thousands of people," said Alicia DeCesare-Corcoran, owner of American Dance Experience.
