Amity Baseball Team Honored by School Board
Sal Coppola's squad has won back-to-back state championships.
The Amity Board of Education took time Monday night to honor the Amity baseball team, its coaches, and recently retired Athletic Director Paul Mengold, the New Haven Register reports.
Mengold called Amity’s season a “miracle year,” and Coach Sal Coppola added it’s a “great team,” according to reporter Pamela McLoughlin.
