Amity Jr. Midgets Shoot for Second National Title

The Amity Pop Warner Junior Midget Cheerleaders won first place at the New England Regional championships on Nov. 19 in Worchester, Mass.

The win means they move on to the Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance championships to be held the week of Dec. 3-10 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports arena in Orlando, Florida. This is the second year Amity has made it to Florida last year's team went on to to take first place and bring home Amity's first ever national championship.

The scramble is now on to raise the funds to send the girls and ther coaches to Florida they will be having a pasta dinner on Nov. 30 at the Center School cafeteria in woodbridge for advanced ticket sales please contact Rich Photos at 203-393-9537 or by email rich@amityyouth football.com There will also be tickets sold at the door.

Don't be surprised if you see the girls outside local buisnesses collecting money stop by tell them what a good job they did and help them on their way to compete for another national title .
