Amity Middle School Orange Students Give Back

The students fundraised more than $800.

From Amity Schools: Eighth grade classes from Team T at Amity Middle School in Orange offered breakfast on November 21st to the entire school body for a $3 donation to benefit the Children’s Center of Hamden. This breakfast was initiated by former teacher, Marilyn Reynolds, over twenty years ago and has continued to be an annual event. The Children’s Center of Hamden serves youths who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues and has many different kinds of programs: outpatient, residential/inpatient treatment programs. Their goal is, “We give hope to Connecticut Children.” This year the staff and students at Amity Middle School in Orange could choose from an array of baked goods, fruit, and juices. What a wonderful way for staff and students to be part of an event that raised over $800 for the Children’s Center!
