Amity Regional High School Ranked as One of the Top High Schools in America
The school was highly ranked in Newsweek Magazine's 2014 list.

Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge was ranked among the top 500 high schools in America in a recent list released by Newsweek.
“Being the highest ranked high school in Connecticut is not something that happens in a year,” Charles Dumais, superintendent for the Amity Regional School District said. “It represents the efforts of a dedicated community, hardworking staff and talented students.”
A total of 13 Connecticut high schools made the list with Amity Regional High School ranked 112 on the list, making it the highest ranked high school in the state.

“We’re very proud and at the same time we know there’s a lot we can do to better serve the students and we are committed to doing that,” Dumais said.
