ORANGE, CT — An Orange man accused of sexually assaulting two juveniles was arrested this week, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said the department received a report on Nov. 15 of two juveniles who were sexually assaulted.
According to Podgorski, the department's Special Victims Unit assumed the investigation and a detective identified Francisco Rodriguez-Posligua, 36, of Orange, as a suspect.
Following an extensive investigation, police developed probable cause and applied for an arrest warrant, which was issued by Stamford Superior Court, Podgorski said.
Rodriguez-Posligua was arrested Monday. He was charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of illegal sexual contact with victim under 16.
His bond was set at $100,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, according to Podgorski.
