ORANGE, CT — Treat Farm has closed its corn maze due to weather-related damage.
Treat Farm is a small, family-owned farm that takes pride in "providing the freshest fruits and vegetables, minimizing the time from our fields to your table," according to its website. The farm is located at 361 Old Tavern Road in Orange.
Treat Farm posted the following on its Facebook page regarding the corn maze:
We have some unfortunate news to share from Treat Farm.
The high winds from the recent Nor'easter knocked down significant sections of our corn maze. We were hopeful that the stalks would recover this week, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.
After looking at the condition of the maze, we have made the difficult decision to close it for the remainder of the 2026 season. While we know how much families and groups look forward to the maze each fall, the safety of our guests has to come first.
We will be reaching out to everyone who has reservations for upcoming maze sessions and will provide full refunds. We will also contact any groups that have made fall reservations with us.
We are very sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience. We truly appreciate everyone who came out to enjoy the maze this year and everyone who had plans to visit us in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting Treat Farm.
