ORANGE, CT — The Orange Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing Thursday, Oct. 22, on proposed sewer benefit assessments for Carlson Road and Bull Hill Lane, with a possible vote scheduled after the hearing.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Rooms 4 and 6 of the High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road. The agenda notes a change in meeting location.
The authority is scheduled to hear public comments on the proposed assessments before discussing and potentially taking action on them. The agenda does not specify the proposed assessment amounts.
Members also are expected to receive an update on the Carlson Road and Bull Hill Lane sewer design project.
The authority will review the status of repairs to the Woolco pump station and receive an update on sanitary sewer relocation work required by Connecticut Department of Transportation Project 106-108.
That project involves widening Boston Post Road from Lambert Road to Milford, according to the agenda.
The authority also is scheduled to receive an operations and maintenance report from Veolia, along with reports from the town engineer and treasurer.
Members will consider approving the minutes of their Aug. 20, 2026, special meeting.
The agenda also calls for a review of the authority's meeting schedule for 2027.
