Faber — Collier Engagement

Bruce Faber of Middlebury, and William and Susan Hunter of Bethany, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Melville Faber, to Ryan Gerard Collier, son of Richard and Janet Collier of Bolton, Mass.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Pomperaug High School in Southbury and Simmons College in Boston. She is pursuing a master’s degree of nursing in adult mental health at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She is a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton, Mass. and Suffolk University in Boston where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration. He is the database marketing manager at Brafton Inc. in Boston.

A May 2012 wedding is planned.
