Obituary Helen Vastola DelStritto, 91

Helen Vastola DelStritto, 91, formerly of Old Tavern Road, Orange and Dayton St., New Haven, passed away Dec. 5, 2011 in The Arden House, Hamden.

She was the widow of Paul DelStritto. Mrs. DelStritto was born in New Haven, Dec. 19, 1919, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosina Pepe Vastola. Prior to her retirement, she was a buyer and sales lady for Broker's Casuals.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosanne (John) Stephens of Henderson, Nevada; her daughter in law, Grace DelStritto of West Haven; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Richard R. DelStritto; a brother, Frank Vastola; and six sisters, Mary Ruotolo, Rita Centone, Sue Maraucci, Carmela Marchitto, Theresa Giordano and Anne Izzo.

and relatives are invited to attend funeral services in The Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St. (cor. Dwight) New Haven, Friday morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in Orange Center Cemetery.
