Obituary Lawrence S. Glover

Lawrence S. Glover, age 85, resident of Orange for over 48 years and beloved husband to Jackie Glover, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael's in New Haven.

Born on February 1, 1926, the youngest of four children growing up in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of the late George and Laurine Ebner Glover.

He served with pride and honor in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. Prior to his retirement, he was a salesman. Larry was a devoted, active member of Holy Infant Church and the Legion of Mary and a member of many charitable organizations.

In addition to his wife Jackie of sixty-one years, he is survived by six children, Steven, Marc, Patricia, David and Keith Glover and Victoria Zulkoski, nine cherished grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Larry's final thoughts were of appreciation to the dedicated staff at St. Raphael's Hospital and Milford Health Care and his family wishes to thank them for their kindness and compassion.

A Mass of Christian Burial were held on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd., Orange, CT.

A private burial will take place at a later date at the Orange Center Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
