OBITUARY Louise Harla Davis

Louise Harla Davis, 88, of Milford passed away January 9, 2012 in CT Hospice.

Wife of the late Richard W. Davis. Mother of Nancy (Gary) Fletcher of Shelton, Joseph (of Orange and the late James Davis. Grandmother of Ryan and Christopher Fletcher and Michael Davis.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Bomba Harla. Sister of the late Stella Wroblewski, Mary Skibo, Julie Gaszi, Raymond and Joseph Harla.

Prior to her retirement Louise worked for the Vadney Fuel Co. for many years.

She was an avid golfer and member of the Orange Hills C.C. and a WWII Navy veteran.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Friday morning at 9:15. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Infant Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Joe Davis was a longtime member of the Orange Volunteer Fire Dept. Annie Davis is a member of the CERT team and known around town as Elf Mama for her work with the Santa's Helper program.
