OBITUARY Philip Gary Zink, 79

Philip Gary Zink, age 79, of Orange, CT and Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011.

Gary was the beloved husband of the late Rose Racalbuto Zink, married for 56 years.

Born in Silver Springs, MD, on August 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Philip and Mattie Gary Zink and brother of the late Emeroy M. Barr.

Gary was president of Ryder Mobile Homes of Milford, CT for 29 years and was an active member at Race Brook CC. He was past president of the Milford Rotary Club and was a sustaining Paul Harris Fellow. He also was past president of the Milford Club and the New England Mobile Home Association.

Gary was active with the Pyramid Shriners in the Arab Patrol, a 56 year member of the Ansantawae Lodge of the Free Masons, and a Master Sgt. in the Army National Guard. Gary enjoyed golfing, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren.

is survived by his daughter, Barbara Marie Zink (Robert Slesinski) of Milford, his two sons Philip Zink, Jr of Branford and John Scott Zink (Dr. Laura Bowman) of Hamden. He is also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, Justin Zink, Amanda Rose and Jake Slesinski.

A wake took place January 2, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Funeral Service was celebrated on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10:30 am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 71 River Street, Milford, CT. Interment following at King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
