William Michael Krivda

William "Bill" Michael Krivda, age 84 of Orange, entered into eternal rest on December 8, 2011 at his home in Orange .

He was the beloved husband of Frances (Iwaniec) Krivda, to whom he was married for 60 years.

Bill was born in Seymour on June 3, 1927 son of the late John and Mary (Elko) Krivda and was a Shelton resident for 22 years before moving to Orange.

He had the distinction of serving his country with the US Navyduring WWII. A graduate of the Paier Art School, Bill was a marvelous artist who created designs for the newsreel at Kerite. He also handcrafted beautiful birthday cards for each of his grandchildren's birthdays.

Bill was employed for over 40 years in the Quality Control Department at Kerite until his retirement in 1993.

Bill is the loving father of William J. Krivda and his wife Phyllis, and Nancy Jansen; caring grandfather of Leif Jansen and his companion Jennifer Swinsick, Aren Jansen and his wife Sanaz, Peter Krivda, and Catherine Krivda; and the adoring great grandfather of Peyton Jansen.

He was predeceased by siblings Robert, John, and Edith Krivda, George and Julius Elko, and Mary Kuna.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. He was remembered at a Christian Burial at Holy Infant Church, Orange. Burial with full Military Honors followed at St. Michael Cemetery. Derby.
