Arrest Warrant Issued For Orange Bank Robbery Suspect, Reward Offered

Police stress that if you see the accused to immediately call 911.

ORANGE, CT — Orange Police are searching for a man who they say is responsible for a bank robbery back in July, police said Thursday. Police say they hold a warrant for the arrest of Vincent Jones, 49, who is wanted in connection with the robbery of the Webster Bank branch on Racebrook Road in Orange on July 31.

Jones is known to frequent the New Haven area, along with other large state municipalities, but has no permanent address, police said. "If you see Vincent Jones, do not approach him; contact police immediately by dialing 911," police said in a news release.

Jones is facing charges of robbery, larceny and breach of peace charges. He also has an active warrant from the Waterbury Office of Probation & Parole, police said.

A reward of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jones is being offered in conjunction with the Connecticut Bankers Association, police said.

To report a sighting of Vincent Jones, dial 911, police said. For information on his location, contact the Orange Police Department at 203.891.2130. All tips/information will be kept confidential, police said.
