Asking for a Screwdriver Leads to Man's Arrest: Orange Police
The accused asked a business employee for a screwdriver and then things escalated after that, police said.

ORANGE, CT — A New York man's request for a screwdriver led to his arrest, Orange Police said. Officers responded to the Jack’s Mobil gas station on Route One in regard to a disturbance earlier this month, police said.
Officers learned that the arrestee, Paul Bryan, 40, of New Rochelle, had entered the store and asked the clerk there for a screw driver, police said. When the clerk stated he did not have any tools to give to customers, the arrestee dismantled a merchandise display in order to remove a metal rod from it to use as a pry bar, police said. Police were contacted, and the arrestee was subsequently taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace.
