Assault Leads To Accident: Orange Police
Police responded to a motor vehicle accident.

ORANGE, CT — A Derby man is accused of committing an assault which led to a motor vehicle accident, Orange Police said. On Aug. 9, police responded to 348 Boston Post Road for a motor vehicle accident caused by an assault, police said.
Officers investigation revealed that William DeFelice, 32, of Derby struck another person, police said. Subsequently he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault of an elderly person and second-degree breach of peace. He posted a $1,000 bond.
