
First Day of School
The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, Aug. 30. All freshmen are expected to arrive at school at 7:34 a.m. for a freshmen orientation.
All upperclassmen are expected to arrive at school on a two-hour delay schedule at 9:34 a.m. A double bus run will be provided for freshmen in the morning and upperclassmen later in the morning. Students will follow a modified schedule through all eight class periods.

Link Crew Orientation
Link Crew is Amity’s year-long freshman transition program that pairs specially-trained juniors and seniors with groups of freshmen to make their move to the high school smooth and successful.

Link Crew works for a single purpose: to make Amity High School a great, safe and connected place for kids to learn.
Link Crew orientation for all incoming freshmen will take place on Friday, Aug. 26, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Parents are asked to drop off and pick up freshmen in the front entrance/parking lot.
The day will include a chance to connect with upperclassmen, a tour of the campus, free lunch, distribution of student schedules and more.
