Biting Leads To Assault Charge In Orange: Police

Police said they recently responded to an assault in progress call.

ORANGE, CT — An Orange man is charged with assault after he allegedly bit another person, police said. On July 20, officers responded to a Mulberry Lane house in regards to an assault in progress, police said.

Officers’ investigation revealed that Joseph Mayorga, 26, of Orange, bit another individual, police said. Subsequently he was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

He was issued a $2,500 bond.
