Bright Beginnings Opens Fifth Child Care Center On Boston Post Road In Orange

ORANGE, CT — Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Program has opened a new child care and early education center at 449 Boston Post Road, marking the company's fifth location in Connecticut.

Co-owners Ridhita and Raj Gupta held a grand opening Oct. 28 that included a ribbon-cutting ceremony organized by the Amity Chamber of Commerce, tours of the approximately 10,000-square-foot facility and a luncheon reception.

The Guptas were joined by Jennifer Kelly, director of the Orange center; Amity Chamber of Commerce CEO Barry Lee Cohen; Orange Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Annemarie Sliby; and employees, parents and friends.

Bright Beginnings provides child care and early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Its programs include infant care, toddler education, preschool and kindergarten preparation.

The company said its curriculum is designed for different stages of child development and adapted to individual children's needs, with an emphasis on academic preparation and social-emotional development.

Ridhita Gupta founded Bright Beginnings in 2009 as a family day care in Stamford after she and her family encountered difficulties finding child care that met their expectations for safety and education.

"Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality, compassionate care in a safe, engaging environment," Gupta said in the release. "Each family should feel confident in the care their child receives."

The Orange facility joins existing Bright Beginnings locations in Fairfield, Norwalk, Stamford and Westport.
