Byong Duk Chung of New York, NY, beloved husband of Helen Yong Duk Chung, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on November 24, 2024. He bravely immigrated with his family from Seoul, Korea to New York City in 1972 and successfully built his business and real estate holdings.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Huhnsik (Sue) and Daniel (Joyce); and grandchildren, Dana, Alexandra, Sara, Theodore and Jason.
Byong was a graduate of Dongguk University in Seoul, Korea and Korea University Business School. He loved to go hiking, especially at Bear Mountain State Park, swimming in the ocean and vacations with his family.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford.
