Frank Bruckmann will demonstrate painting a landscape in oils hosted by the Shelton Art League on October 19, 2026 at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church Street, Shelton, CT, 2FL, Rm #2. The doors open at 11:45 am for refreshments followed by a general meeting and the artist’s demonstration. Frank Bruckmann has spent four decades painting still lifes, figures, landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, etc. from Monhegan, Maine to Pennsylvania and across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. He began his studies at the DuCret School of Art in New Jersey and continued with classes at the Art Students League in New York City. In Paris, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and spent nearly a decade in France and Spain, copying the masters in great museums and painting landscapes in the cities and countryside. Residing in New Haven, Bruckmann has found endless subject matter for landscapes in New England but periodically packs his easel and travels farther and wider in his VW camper.
