Carjacking Investigated In Orange: Police
The incident occurred Saturday morning at a Cumberland Farms gas station on the Boston Post Road.
ORANGE, CT — Police are investigating a carjacking in Orange from Saturday in which the suspect may have been armed, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. at the Cumberland Farms gas station at 151 Boston Post Road. The victim was in the midst of putting air in the tires of his 2013 Audi Q7 SUV when the suspect got into the vehicle, according to police.
When the victim confronted the suspect, the victim saw the man was holding a "small black object, possibly a handgun" that the suspect waved at the victim to indicate he should walk away. The suspect then drove off in the vehicle eastbound on the Boston Post Road.

Before the confrontation, the victim saw the suspect — described as a "Black male, 5'10", 30 years of age, wearing a black jacket and a black ski mask" — get out of a gray Mazda sedan, which then left the station with the Q7.
The Mazda's license plate is Connecticut "AF10," and the Q7's license plate is Connecticut "315PJO," according to police.
