Chess Championships Scheduled
The State Chess Championship and New Haven Scholastic Championship games are coming May 14.
Hopkins School, 986 Forest Road, New Haven, will host the 2011 CT Open State Chess Championship and New Haven Scholastic Championship games on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cash prizes of $500, $300, $200, $100, and $50.
Entry fee is $75 by May 9, $120 at site.
