The Church of the Good Shepherd Easter/Lent Activities

Several upcoming events are planned.

From the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd: The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd offers Stations of the Cross during the Lenten season.

The Good Shepherd is conducting Stations of the Cross during the Lenten season on Friday, April 5, and on Good Friday, April 19. All are welcome to gather in the Parish Hall at 7 p.m. for fellowship followed by Stations of the Cross at 7:30 pm.

On Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to Noon join the Easter Bunny for breakfast at the Good Shepherd! Come take your picture with the Easter Bunny! Egg McShepherds and juice will be served. The event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.

The Church of the Good Shepherd invites you to attend any of our upcoming services and events during Holy Week and on Easter Sunday. All are welcome.

Join us on Palm Sunday, April 14, for services at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. with the Blessing of the Palms and a Reading of the Passion. On Thursday, April 18, there is a Maundy Thursday service with Holy Eucharist and foot washing at 7 p.m. The sanctuary is open for prayer and anointing for healing with an Altar of Repose available on Thursday, April 18, from 8:30-10 p.m., and on Friday April 19, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

On Good Friday, April 19, the Stations of the Cross is conducted at 7 p.m. Join us on Easter Sunday April 21 for services at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. An Easter Egg Hunt follows the 9:30 a.m. service. The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd is located on 680 Racebrook Road, Orange, Connecticut. Sunday service times include Rite II Holy Eucharist without music at 8 a.m. and Rite II Holy Eucharist with music at 9:30 a.m.
