Coronavirus Orange: Resident Tests Positive

An Orange resident who previously tested negative for the new coronavirus has now tested positive.

ORANGE, CT — A town resident who lives in a village community tested positive for the new coronavirus, according to First Selectman James Zeoli.

Zeoli told WTNH the senior male resident tested negative about a week ago for the virus, but was re-tested after a recent fall incident.

The man and his wife haven't traveled or interacted with other people recently, according to WTNH.

There are 194 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus in Connecticut as of Friday afternoon. Of that 122 cases are in Fairfield County.
