Dispute At Walgreens Leads To Charges: Orange Police

Police responded to the retailer on a report of an employee, customer dispute, police said.

ORANGE, CT — A Bronx, NY woman is accused of interfering with a police officer, Orange Police say. On Jan. 19, officers responded to 54 Boston Post Road (Walgreens) for a dispute between a customer and an employee, police said.

Upon arrival, Anisha M. Colon, 23, started to walk away from officers, police said. While being identified she gave a wrong name and then tried to flee the scene in a dangerous manner across the Boston Post Road when officers discovered she had an active warrant for second-degree failure to appear, police said.

Officers were able to detain her, police said. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with two counts of interference with a police officer. She was initially held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
