Driver Crashes Car Into Telephone Pole In Orange: Milford PD
Police said they saw a man driving erratically and attempted to stop the vehicle.

MILFORD, CT — An East Haven man is accused of trying to elude police and ended up crashing his vehicle into a telephone pole in Orange, Milford police said. On Nov. 22, Milford police saw an erratic driver on Woodmont Road near Old Gate Lane, police said.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle as it took off at a high rate of speed into Orange, police said. The vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and investigation led to the arrest of Eric Torres, 28, of Messina Drive in East Haven, who is accused of driving the unregistered and uninsured vehicle with a suspended license, police said.
He is charged with reckless driving, traveling too fast for conditions, failure to drive rate, operating with a suspended license, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
