DUI Driver Charged After Accident: Orange Police

Police said they recently responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver.

ORANGE, CT — A Milford man is accused of driving while under the influence in Orange, police said. On Oct. 24, officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver on 55 Marsh Hill Road where there had been a motor vehicle accident, police said.

"Officers immediately noticed a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside of the vehicle," Orange Police said in a news release. "Matteo A. Gaglione’s eyes were glossy in appearance and he admitted to earlier use of marijuana.

He was asked to perform standardized sobriety field tests. Subsequently, Gaglione, 19, of Milford was taken into custody and charged with DUI and driving too close.
