DUI Man Drove On Wrong Side Of Road: Orange Police

Police responded to the area just before 2 a.m.

ORANGE, CT — A West Haven man who was driving on the wrong side of the road was charged with DUI, Orange Police said.

On Oct. 28 around 2 a.m., officers saw a vehicle on Derby Avenue traveling down the wrong side of the road, police said. A motor vehicle stop was made.

It was discovered that Dean M. Alling, 25, of West Haven, was driving the vehicle, police said. There was a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle, police said.

He was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with DUI.
