East Lyme PD Arrest Suspected Orange Heroin Dealer

EAST LYME, CT — A 30-year-old suspected heroin dealer from Orange was arrested by East Lyme police on Oct. 25, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

Arrested just after 2 p.m. on West Main Street was Amanda Wells, who was charged with the following:

• Possession of a controlled substance
• Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school
• possession of drug paraphernalia

Police seized 44 folds of heroin and two cell phones during the arrest. Additional details were not disclosed.
