Election 2016 Results: Orange Vote Totals for President, U.S. Senate and Local Races
On Wednesday morning, full election results and numbers were released for all races that Orange residents voted on.

ORANGE, CT — On Election Night in Orange residents preferred Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton by a margin of 4,221 to 3,834.
Clinton earned 45.8 percent of the vote in Orange, Trump received 50.4 percent, while Gary Johnson earned 216 votes or 2.5 percent and Jill Stein received 86 votes or 1. percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., amassed on multiple lines 4,453 and 458 votes and his opponent Dan Carter, a Republican, received 3,226 votes. Blumenthal received 59 percent of the ballots cast in Orange.

Incumbent Rosa DeLauro, a Democrat, received 4,440 and 510 votes on multiple lines or 60 percent of the vote in Orange and Angel Cadena, a Republican, received 3,242 or 40 percent of the vote.
Locally, State Senator Gayle Slossberg, D-Milford, defeated her challenger Pat Libero, of West Haven. Slossberg received 3,888 and 313 votes or 52 percent in Orange and Libero received 3,956 or 48 percent. Slossberg was re-elected to a seventh-term.

In the 117th State House District, Charles Ferraro, a Republican, won re-election to a second-term and received 1,003 and 59 votes in Orange or 63 percent, and Democratic candidate Sean P. Ronan received 591 and 27 votes or a 37 percent total.
For the 119th State House District the Republican incumbent Pamela Staneski defeated Democratic candidate Ben Gettinger. Staneski earned a second term with a tally of 771 and 51 votes on multiple lines or 51 percent of the vote in Orange compared to Gettinger, who received 687 and 60 votes on multiple lines or 49 percent of the vote.
For the 114 State House District, the Republican Themis Klarides received 3,182 and 342 votes on multiple lines and the Working Families Party candidate Aldon M. Haynes earned 412 votes. Klarides was re-elected to a tenth-term with 90 percent of the vote.
Democrat Janice M. Casey received 3,457 votes and Republican Frederick A. Kendrick received 4,367 votes for registrar of voters.
