Elementary School Registration Dates Set For New Families
Orange residents who will be enrolling a child in kindergarten through sixth grade for the first time will want to read this.
The Orange Public Schools District has set up registration dates for elementary school students who are new to town.
The registration is for kindergarten through sixth grade. "Parents are requested to bring child’s birth certificate, proof of residency, physical and immunization records at the time of registration," according to the district website.
The registration dates and times are as follows:
Kindergarten

At Mary L. Tracy School on Friday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (this is the registration for all kindergartners)
Grades 1 - 6

Race Brook School on Thursday, Aug. 15, from noon – 2:30 p.m.
Turkey Hill School on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Peck Place School on Friday, Aug. 16, from noon – 2:30 p.m.
