ORANGE, CT — Recent death notices from Orange.

Helen Joyce Enright, 99, died Aug. 26, 2026. She and her husband, John, raised three children in Melrose, MA, before the family settled in Orange in the mid-1960s. She had a long career at Yale University and served as president of the New New Haveners Club. She is survived by three children and five grandchildren.

Constantine P. Ellis, 76, died July 23, 2026. He is survived by his partner of 34 years, Chris Merolla, his son, Darren Ellis, and his brother, Michael Ellis.

Barbara Regina Carangelo, 93, died July 21, 2026. She worked as a legal secretary before becoming a real estate agent for the Raccio Agency. She is survived by four children and nine grandchildren.

Linda Ann Gagel, 76, died July 17, 2026. A 1968 graduate of West Haven High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southern Connecticut State College in 1972 and a master's degree in 1980. She taught second and third grade in the West Haven school system at Pagels Elementary School and Washington Avenue School. She is survived by her husband, Charles Gagel.
