The New Haven Mineral Club presents its 39th Annual Gem, Mineral and Jewelry show at Amity Middle School, 100 Ohman Ave., on Saturday, March 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This is a wonderful place to get your children interested in different types of rocks, crystals and minerals found right here in CT. Admission is still only $5 and children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
You can see minerals, fossils, crystals, gems and other items on exhibit. Most dealers are happy to chat about their experiences in obtaining some of their pieces and sell well marked stones for reasonable prices.
