The Davis Gallery is pleased to present watercolors of Orange, Connecticut artist Rosemary Benivegna.
Rosemary’s work is divided into three areas of study; assemblages of common idiomatic forms of New England architecture, melded into abstracted groupings using analogous or alternating colors; candid glimpses of people in everyday settings, which tell a story for the observer; and emotionally charged landscapes of saturated colors. For this show, some well known scenes from Orange will also be included.
