Free Bus to New Haven Symphony Concert ("Carmina Burana)_

As a service to the community, Orange Arts and Culture Council is providing free transportation to  and from Woolsey Hall  in New Haven, eliminating the problems associated with finding parking. The concert, on Thursday, November 29th, will feature Orff's 20th century masterpice, "Carmina Burana'. The "Hansel and Gretel Overture" by Humperdinck and excerpts from the "Swan Lake Suite" by Tchaikovsky will also be performed. The orchestra will be conducted by NHSO's Music Director, William Boughton


Tickets to the concert may be obtained by going to newhavensymphony.org or by calling 203 865 0831. Subscribers and those holding tickets for this performance are welcome to participate in this transportation offer.  If this proves to be successful, the OACC may offer other transportation options in the future.


Departure will be at 6:45 p.m. from High Plains Community Center. Call 203-397-89154 to reserve space.
